The Bills have the best running back tandem in the league. Unfortunately that is about all they have going for them. The Bills had a busy off-season last year, but it yielded little result. Ryan Fitzpatrick is gone and Kevin Kolb is in. Does that mean Kolb is the man in Buffalo or will the Bills draft a quarterback with the intentions of starting? Finding a stable quarterback and finding more touches for C.J. Spiller are the Bills only hopes for a successful season.
The Bills have been giving the ball to both CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson. No knock against Jackson, but when fully healthy, Jackson should become Spiller’s backup. Spiller showed elite potential in college, and it is time for him to fulfill it now.
The Bills were 6-10 last year and will go 7-9 this year. Mario Williams will help, but stinking in the second half of the season will not.
The Bills haven’t been good for quite some time. They have been in a rather tough division and their luck doesn’t seem to be getting any better. They have returned with virtually the same lineup as last season. New running back C.J. Spiller could make a splash considering Marshawn Lynch’s injuries woes these last couple of months. Aside from that, their offense is still abysmal. Lee Evans and Roscoe Parrish are still the number one and two receivers respectively. Trent Edwards is still their main man at quarterback.
Their defense isn’t half bad, so that counts for something. Their pass defense is what really stands out, as they allowed the seconf fewest last year behind their division-rival in the Jets.
The bottom line remains, the Dolphins, Patriots, and Jets will all be better than the Bills this year. It looks like yet another rough year, as I predict them to finish 5-11.

The AFC East will have a new champion this season. The Patriots are no longer the team to beat in the division. Read on to see what team from the AFC East has a good chance of going to the Super Bowl.
4. Buffalo Bills: No changes here, the Bills are still the worst team in the AFC East. With a mediocre quarterback in Trent Edwards and the same at running back with Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson, the Bills offense will be one of the worst this season. The Bills drafted two wide receivers to try and help their offense, Naaman Roosevelt and Marcus Easley. The Bills still have Lee Evans to go along with the two rookies. The problem is the Bills do not have a good enough quarterback to get the ball to these receivers. The Bills defense is excellent and it will help them win some games this season. Since the Bills have added some new pieces, I think they will be better than last season, but not by much. I think the Bills will be 6-10 once again.

Terrell Owens sits down with a sigh, his long career as a professional athlete/lightning rod perhaps summed up best on this particular November afternoon by the sweat-soaked jersey he wears. On the front it reads “iLove” and on the back, continuing the thought, “Me Some Me.”
“Just a shirt,” he shrugs.
With its eponymous signature and No. 81 inscribed on its sleeve, though, it’s a shirt that tells a story: No matter how trying the times in this uphill climb of a season in Buffalo, Owens remains his own biggest fan. The Bills have been a case study in National Football League turmoil since training camp. Their injuries, ineptitude and coaching follies have accomplished something that would make an opposing defensive guru envious: They’ve rendered Owens irrelevant, and at times even invisible. For a fellow who loves him some him, this is galling – no wonder, after 14 seasons of bombs and bombast, he’s branded this his most trying year.
